As @Luke has mentioned I would not be attempting to take the bearing apart but maybe just to rule this completely out of the question it looks like in @Bwood34 picture the snap ring is 6 sided (Hexagonal shape). So pretty easy to just do a quick visual inspection to make sure the seal is well seated with the snap ring properly seated over top the seal all around. Now that I know it’s a snap ring even in @MarkDGaal picture I now notice it going around behind the screw shaft (thread). However it’s hard to see the metal ring where marked in red because of the camera angle.
Could it need a new ball nut?

My #2 Lube showed up today and I oiled the 4 linear guides/rails, followed by up and down the ball screw to no effect.
UNTIL: I lubed right here below the coupler. That quieted things right down. YMMV
