I am having a terrible time trying to create stars. I have a 5 pro and am using a 60 degree vee bit.
Any ideas what would be causing this to happen?
Check that your machine is mechanically sound — power up, jog it to the middle and load a probing pin if possible, otherwise the largest/longest tool you have — grab it by the tip or shaft and try to move it — it should be rock solid, investigate any aspect of it moving.
If everything checks out mechanically and all your wiring is in good condition and all connectors secure check your feeds and speeds and depth per pass.

Looks like you have some kind of slop in your Y axis. 5 Pro is ballscrew, so check the coupler between the motor and the screw.
EDIT - Also check where the nut that rides along the ballscrew is attached to the carriage.
