Help troubleshooting cut defect

Can anyone tell me what the possible culprit would be for getting little dips when the machine is doing a small pocketing operation around the edges where it turns? See photos for reference and thanks in advance!

Is it pocketing? Or cutting a slot as narrow as the endmill?

Post your file. It is hard to tell from the picture but that looks like a pretty deep first cut. Likely bit deflection. It is also possible that you have a mechanical issue like v-wheels when the machine makes an abrupt direction change it is possible your v-wheels are changing position causing the router to go out of line .

It was a pocket cut and I think that may be the issue. Initially I had the file doing a full pocket to create the lip I was trying to create but realized it would be a waste of time since I was going to cut away the majority of that anyways. So then I altered the pocket toolpath without taking into account how wide it was. I am adding both original and altered file for reference.

Can I add vcarve (.crv) files?

Unsupported file types such as .crv have to be zipped, and the .zip archive uploaded.

Okay well I added the files as reference if anyone is interested in taking a look but I feel like the culprit may have been the pocket was too small for the toolpath.
