Please remember I’m a newbie. LOL If I set it in inches, it does the same thing. I’m not sure how to jog 1mm.

There’s a “MDI” command line input box where you can type in G-code commands to be sent to the machine. try sending
G21
G91
X1

This should jog the machine 1mm to the right.
