Help with a pocket and a V-bit

Hello. I’m trying to pocket out an area in 3 steps using Rest Machining. The first two passes with the 1/4" bit and 1/8" bit works exactly and I want and would expect. For the 3rd, and last pass, I want to use a V-bit. The V-bit pass is not finishing cutting out the pocket in the areas the 1/8" bit could not get to. I also tried a v-carve pass but that is not the effect I’m looking for. I’ve attached my file if taking a look would help. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

My suggestion would be to use a V carving with pocket clearing:

and follow with a perimeter clearing inside contour w/ a smaller tool:

Thank you! I think you nailed exactly what I’m going for. I’ll give it a try, but could you share those changes you did so I can open it and take a look at exactly what you did?

I think I found the problem, but your screen shot helped me find it! I was using a 90’ V-bit. Changing to the 60’ v-bit had the result I was looking for. Thank you!!
