Occasionally I get this error. For me all I have to do is lower the Z away from the Homing Switch and re-home the machine and it works?

I emailed last night. With no response yet

I don’t see any unanswered tickets to anyone named “James” — would you please check that your e-mail didn’t bounce and went through to:

support@carbide3d.com

Okay. Emailed again. I didn’t check sent mail. It says it went through.

I found a auto response from last night. Maybe they just haven’t gotten to me yet ??

It’s been assigned and will be addressed in the order of the tickets which that support person is working on.

What does that mean lol ??

lol means “laugh out loud” Sorry couldn’t resist.

If you mean “lower the Z away from the Homing Switch and re-home the machine and it works”
I turn off the machine and lower the Z or Router away from the Homing Switch. Turn it back on, connect to CC and Initialize the machine again.

Ah ! I see . So last night i actually did that. Turned the unit off. Pushed the gantry away from the right axis just a touch. It took a few times but eventually it didn’t give me an error. The next screen was the option to open a job or jog the machine. I’m assuming this means the homing was successful ? Again. Extremely new with this. Sorry for all the questions. I’m just trying to avoid problems later on.

Ah. This morning it didn’t work lol. I started the process of trouble shooting carbide suggested. Hopefully I’m doing it right I sent them the videos. We shall see
