Homing machine issues

Hey everyone.
So I just set up my shapeoko and everything was going fine. I sent it home and decided to try out my first project. I was trying to set my zero and I noticed the jog function was missing in carbide motion. I read that it will only let you jog when you send it home so I decided to home it again. That all worked fine but now after it goes home itll move to the front center of my table and tell me I need to put a tool in the spindle. Then it moves back home and my Z drops into my table. Not sure where I messed up but any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

If you have a BitSetter, you need to tell the machine where it is located. If you don’t have it, you need to disable it in the software.

Power up, connect to the machine, go to Settings, then clear the checkbox which enables the BitSetter — that should allow the machine to initialize as expected.

Once the machine has initialized successfully you can enable and configure the BitSetter.
