Homing Switch Issue?

I have been able to successfully home my machine 2 or 3 times. I put on the T-track and now it won’t complete the homing process (I don’t think the t track has anything to do with it).

When Homing… Z Axis takes router up. Y axis takes router to the back corner (I can see the red light come on when it gets to end) but the X axis just keep going. I am able to free move the carriage across both ends of the X Axis (belt clip is not in the way).

Please check the state of the X-axis homing switch — is the light stuck on? Is the machine above to move so as to trigger it before reaching the end of travel along the X-axis?

The light is not on.

Thanks will. I have contacted support.

I relooked at the lights. The X axis and Y axis light comes on when it reaches the end of homing. X seems to want to keep going even after the light comes on.

Okay, saw your ticket on support and answered there — hopefully we can get this sorted out there.

Can you get a screenshot of the log when the x switch is not triggered and again when it is? Uncheck “hide status reports”, so I can see the status reports.

I just finished installing my z plus today and ran into an very similar issue. It turned out that my X proximity sensor needed be mounted closer to the rail. The instructions say to mount it as far up as possible but the sensor was not triggering. Once I lowered it 1/4 inch my x homing issue went away.

Update. The issue has been resolved.

There were a couple things that needed to be done:

1.) Something had to be loose pinched or something in wiring. Loosened the wires and “jiggled” it and was able to see the blue light on the board light up. Even after I got the sensor and board working I had the issues. I then went to the next step:

2.) As Vincesandoval718 mentioned the switch is instructed to mount flush with the bracket. I had to push it as far forward as it could go. After that and the magic jiggle in step 1 I got my fist test cut finally done late Sunday evening.

Thank you William for the help!
