I downloaded a font on my laptop for use in Create. I created a file and sent it to my tablet, wich runs Motion. I then modified the file using Create on the tablet and started having trouble with a text inlay in the project.
Several frustrating hours later, I discovered the cause of the trouble was the tablet didn’t ha e that font installed. Once I downloadednit to the tablet and installed it, the project worked out as planned.
I want to avoided that in the future by syncing any fonts I might dowload in the future. Do any of the brainiacs in the group have a method for this they would share?

This is addressed by a category of software known as “font managers”.
Traditionally, graphic design software has assisted in this by having a “Collect for Output” option where all resources, including fonts could be copied into a folder for archiving or moving to a different computer.
The best way to manage this in Carbide Create is to convert to paths:

(once one has finished editing the text and the project has achieved its final form as regards text).
