How do I make a single path deeper with the router tip?

I want to make a deeper path at one time so it doesn’t repeat it three times. What is that function and where is it located?

That would be done by making the value for depth per pass greater than depth of cut.

That said, there’s a reason the depth per pass values are set where they are, and tripling them could easily result in either breakage or lost steps.

With some experience you will be able to comfortably cut beyond the recommended depth of a given bit (different materials, etc). Adding .01 to on a bit usually isn’t asking too much. Keep in mind that as a bit wears, it will be less able to make the deeper cuts and you run the risk of ruining a project.

Depth failures rarely happen at the beginning of a project.
