How do I set up v-carve to run on my Shapeoko 3?

I just figured out how to get my machine to run! and now I don’t know how to set up my regular v-carve to run on my Shapeoko 3. I know how to use the program, but I just don’t know how to bring files over from the program to the machine. V-carve won’t let me save in a different format like SVX (I think that’s it), so I don’t know what to do. Can someone please help?

You need to install/select a suitable post processor for the Shapeoko in VCarve.
I recommend you use @neilferreri’s one and then you’ll be all set for using a BitSetter too:

So do I just contact him and ask to use it or can I find it on the web somewhere?

You can just follow the link, download it from github (it’s freely available, Neil is cool like that), and install it (there is a Vectric page on how to do this, but basically it boils down to coming the .pp file to a specific directory in V-carve folder)
