How to edit automatically filled tool values

I have been adding various bits that I have into my tool database, but have found that the automatically filled values such as flute length do not match my bits and need to be changed. I have not been able to figure out how to edit this information so far, is it possible to edit this or am I stuck with what Carbide Create populates?

These values would need to be edited in the underlying .csv file.

Carbide Create | About | Open Data Directory

then edit the .csv files in the tools directory

When you create the new tools in CC you can then do as @WillAdams suggested and add anything you want or change things. Just be sure to save the spreadsheet file as a .csv file and not the native spreadsheet file that it will default to when saving. CC can only read the .csv file format and not a spreadsheet file format.

Thanks gdon_2003 and WillAdams for the information. I’m trying to open the .CSV file right now, but need to find and install a program to edit the file as I currently only have a .CSV viewer. I’ll update this post once I get into editing it.

Your advice worked flawlessly! I have been able to go in and modify tool data as needed to accurately represent each bit. Thank again!
