I bought a Tapered Ball nose 4.82 Degree bit and I am running Carbide Create Build 756. I can’t figure out how to enter the flute length, it isn’t there when adding/editing a tool. I am entering it as a v-bit. If I try an end mill or ball mill, I the angle field is disabled, and none of them offer a flute length, even as an engraver. Thanks in advance.
This tool geometry is not supported by current versions of Carbide Create.
You will need to enter it as a ball-nosed tool and use it in projects where there aren’t more vertical surfaces than the taper angle will cut away.
