We can, obviously, change the bit when we start a new project, but what if we want to make a template with a particular default bit? As in, we’re always gonna use that bit for this particular project, instead of having to change it every time we open the file.
You can save any part as a template. Just name it appropriately (ex: cribbage_board_template.c2d). Then include the tools & paths you want on sample geometry.
Then to make a new cribbage board, open the template & Save As… (My_new_cribbage_baord.c2d), leaving the template for next time.
