Hello, I’m wondering how to accomplish making this angle. I basically am milling out a flat chassis but have to provide this kicked up ramp part also all in the same piece (The one I have pictured is bolted) (mine will be all one I hope lol) how would I accomplish doing that? Using carbide create pro
What are the dimensions?
For ramps/angles you have to draw the geometry for modeling the angle twice as wide:
Then model in the flat region:
Then remove what is not needed:
Will you are always on it! Thank you for that! Is there a good video on YouTube or something I may be able to find that explains this better? I am kind of following along a little bit but still don’t fully understand
Upload the file where you are stuck?
Can you cut it from the side? Or in multiple set ups?
You can cut as many as you can make, or in any orientation — it’s just a matter of making them.
For an alternative approach see:
That said, the UI is intended for decorative work — if you want to do engineering work, you probably want a traditional 3D CAD program:
We sell Alibre:
which would be my recommendation.
