How to model angled slots in CC Pro?

Starting to play around with CC Pro and the modeling feature is not clicking with me. I can make an angled slot (v-shaped), but what I want to do is make successively deeper slot. It would be similar to ramping-in with a bit, but the bit stops when it gets to the end of the shape. The only comparison for the application I’m designing would be a drainage slot on a cutting board, allowing liquid to flow from one end to the other. How would this be accomplished in CC Pro?

The actual application would be making a mini-pool table with active ball-return. So the balls would fall into a groove and roll (inside) to the end of the table. Cutting one half of the table with the return grooves and the other with the shape of the table and pockets.

Could you raise your stock one end and then cut a level slot?

There are a couple of ways to do this sort of thing — the big thing is they all depend on the working and stock area and geometry being larger than necessary.

So, one would model:

and then create:

and then remove everything else:

to arrive at:

Probably it would be better to model this in a full-fledged 3D CAD tool and use an STL
