I can't get new tools entered into the library anymore

I have entered small bits into the library before without changing the 2D and 3d speeds, just left them default and no problem. Now I am trying to add a 0.4mm bit and keep getting the error window saying I need to be between 0.000X and X000.000 for a certain parameter (feedrate, plunge whatever). Even if I enter 1 for every parameter I get an error saying I have to be between two measurements… but I already am. 1 is between the numbers in the error window and the program won’t accept the entry.

The numbers I enter get changed as well. Once I hit ok on the error window my entry for that field gets changed.

This just started happening. I have added 4 or 5 bits before, now this one has me stumped.

You are running into this bug:

Workaround - make the units of the project match the units of the bit you are trying to add. So, change the units of the project to mm while you add the bit. Once you are done, you can change back.

Thanks for the reply. I was converting on the wrong end of the job, adding metric to an inch job.

Down the road if I have a job set to metric, will the same issue come up if I try to add an imperial tool?

Yes, just temporarily change the units in Job Setup, or it should work to just specify all of the units.
