I have to initialize machine more than once to start

I’ve only had it set up for a couple days. The first day went smoothly, but today I’m getting an error when initializing. If I try 1 or 2 more times, it seems to work. It makes it to the back corner but seems no properly initialize.

I checked the homing switches and checked for obstructions, but nothing seems wrong. What else should I check?

HM008: The machine could not pull off the homing switches.

For an SO3, the things to check are the Belts, pulleys, and adjustment of the V wheels and eccentric nuts in addition to the switches.
