I made a bathroom sign

Yes, I bought this expensive equipment for fart jokes :joy:

I saw an article that a person’s etsy store best seller was a sign that said ā€œHope Everything Comes Out OKā€. At the time I though what an odd sign in the bathroom but to each their own. So you let 'er rip. Just be sure to call the EPA to get an air quality alert before letting it rip. :grinning: :grinning:

What are you using to get the crisp square corners (such as on the exclamation point)? I was under the impression I’d need to use the laser for that.

I am going to guess before the owner replies that an Advanced Vee cut was done. It downloaded the picture and blew it up. Although a very shallow pocket it looked like a vee cut around the letters.

Lets see if I am right.

Yes sir that is correct. An advanced v-bit cut with an Amana v-bit and an Amana shank. It works fantastically! Sometimes I cut deeper, but I chose a shallow cut this time around.

Ok, didn’t think of a shallow v bit, thank you both!

You know they say a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while. Some get older and wiser and others just get older. I hope I have gotten wiser. I guessed right by intelligence guided by wisdom. If any of you buy my platitudes I have a bridge in New York I would like to sell you.

Nice sign and well executed.

Haha, thanks. You’re welcome

What’s that material? Looks like a veneer on a thick phenolic backing?

It’s just solid 3/4" hard maple that I cut, then painted the outer edge and the lettering.
