Nice looking work!
Are you using the Shapeoke to cut the backside of the neck? If so, did you design it in Carbide Create Pro?
What’re the woods on that?
Nice work and inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Hi im sorry I have been so busy I havent had time to respond to my messages. I imported an STL from a CAD program modeled in Vetric pro into Carbide 3D pro then just modified it from there for tool paths.
Hi on the neck I use roasted Maple blanks I buy from a person in Michigan that has a small business wood mill and kiln that really has good quality blanks nice figuring and dryed too 2 % and for the body It was a experiment with dryed hard pine then used flamed birdseyed maple veneer and mahogany on front and Mahogany veneer on back and sides then put it in a mold and used epoxy tabletop clear with some gold metallic mixed for the topcoat. Its was an experiment to see what tones I would get out of it and it really surprised me with a great sound sustain and tone its amazing with Seymour duncan Custom Hotrod bridge and neck pickups
