I’m really starting to get frustrated with my Shapeoko 3 XXL. I am experiencing inconsistent tool paths following the first path. What I am seeing appears to be on the X-axis where the tool path is moving anywhere from 0.090” to 0.110” to the left of the original tool path. I have literally taken the entire machine down to the components and re-assembled everything paying particular attention to the v-wheel tightness and belt tightness. I’ll attach some photos for your review. If you have any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Either the cut it too aggressive and you’re skipping steps on the steppers, or something is loose. Given what I see (the little “scoop” at the topmost straight bit on the left there) I’d guess a little loose left and right - i say that because it’s not consistently off (the whole thing slid left/right at each depth).

Cutting slots is hard — add geometry and cut as a pocket:

if you move to zero, had the zero point moved?
it looks like it did …
which is likely due to steps missed…
things to look at
is the program going outside machine limits
is the belt tight
is the set screw in the sprocket that connects it to the motor axis tight
