Initialization failure on initial setup

Cross posting because I am sad. Hello all. Well I’m stumped trying to get my shapeoko 5.1 pro initialized after first assembly. I get the error message pictured below. When powered on it becomes impossible for me to move the gantry along the Y axis. It moves freely when powered off. I’ve had no luck getting in touch with Carbide support(aren’t they supposed to be awesome?) so I hope you can help my noob carcass through this. Also, I have been through the instructions more than half a dozen times and cannot find what they want me to do with the green(ground?) wire goes on the right y axis. TIA, sure would like to use this machine.

.

My new 5.1 did the same thing , you have two switches one on each side and sounds like they are not alligned. My back left one was off by 1/8" from the back right once I re adjusted it cleared that problem .

@Northwoodsfishinbum

It goes into the ground block on the right rear of the Y axis.
