OK, now we’re getting somewhere. What is the size of the actual plug? Note you have to measure it at the plug depth.
Here’s what I would do. First make a circle on the male plug a little bigger than the cutout on the female pocket part so you can fit the female to the male without unclamping the male.
Machine the plug with a small plug depth & larger top gap & fit it. The gap should match the top gap. If it doesn’t, find the difference and adjust your top gap & plug depth to get the depth you want.
