I have a Festool CT Midi and Oneida Ultimate Dust Deputy which I bought in a noise-induced migraine-fueled rage — not cheap, but it works well: [WIN_20200328_14_20_37_Pro] While it worked well w/ the original tapering 35mm hose and a Sweepy v1, getting the v2 and switching to a 2.5" hose: Fulton Dual Anti Static Dual Dissipative Semi-Clear PVC Hose sourced a 2.5" elbow and some hose clamps and it all fit together quite nicely. Also hacked up a dust wand:

Since then I’ve bought some straight/rotating connectors and have been working on dust collection for my Mafell FM 1000 WS:

It is a simply amazing mechanism. It feels a bit like the Sig Sauer I had occasion to try at a gun range once — like something made by magical Bavarian Elves. It’s a 220V unit which I’ll be using with a transformer: and grounding plug/converter: and a wonderfully generous and talented individual here has offered to make an 8mm–6.35mm reducing bushing so I won’t have to use the off-balance Amana RB-106 I purchased. Next up I think is seeing if I can get a better finish than just scrubbi…
