Hi folks, I was wondering if it’s possible to buy the 65mm spindle mount from the Shapeoko 5 Pro and install it on the Shapeoko 4.

Would it be possible to make a 65mm mount for my Shapeoko 4 that has the accessory mount? Or is there something about Z-Plus/HDZ that is incompatible with an accessory dovetail that necessitates the Shapeoko 5 Pro

Yes, one can make any sort of custom mount which one wishes, and yes, it would be possible to make a mount which has that same sort of dovetail slot — it just requires some specialized tooling, or a bit of inventiveness in how the parts of the mount are assembled.
