Does CC have a minimum for stock size?
Trying to carve text on a stripe that’s 18.5" long by.75" high and when setting up my stock it auto changed the .75" to .9843"
Yes, 25mm, hence the changing of 1" to 0.9843" (25mm in metric).
So if I need text centered in a stock size that is .75" high x18.5 long how would I accomplish that
Draw a rectangle to that size and use that rectangle as the key object.

You could also just use the center for your origin. As long as your carving will fit on the material that is all that matters. I use the center a lot but sometimes the lower left corner. I like the center because if your measurements on the material are off a little the carving is still centered.
