Issue with 3D Model Display in CC Build 816

I’ve been using CC Build 816 and ran into a weird display issue when creating a 3D model.

After building the model, the preview window comes up blank, and the model doesn’t show in the model window either. I’ve attached screenshots to show exactly what I’m seeing.

So… is this some quirky new feature, a legit bug, or is my computer just having a laugh at my expense?

Upload a .c2d file which doesn’t preview when Carbide Create is freshly launched on a just rebooted computer?

Rebooting resolved the issue with viewing the 3D image.

However, when I attempted to make an adjustment afterward, I encountered a Bug Splat error, which I’ve submitted.

Here’s the file.

To the best of my understanding, there’s a bug in 816 where the 3D preview lags behind one step, particularly at higher resolution. If you make a new component, you’ll see the previous component. And when you make a third, you see the second. Etc.

Yes, I did notice the lag, and yes, I had the resolution cranked up to the maximum (50x)—great feature, by the way.

Sounds like this bug’s already on your radar, which is good.

I’ll go hunt for others.
