I’ve created a few things on our Shapeokeo 3 which came out OK but I’ve hit an issue with my first vcarve inlay.
It’s simple text using Blacksword font and an SPE 30 degree vee bit.
Everything looks OK until I run the simulation and some of the text doesn’t cut.
I’ve tried changing depths and even put t in the depth box but nothing changes it.
I get the bit will lift up as the font is smaller at those points but I would have thought it would cut something at all points of the font.
I could be using a bad font so happy for similar font suggestions people have used and got gud results from.
If anyone can anyone help with the settings I’m using it would be greatly appreciated?

Apologies I should have said, I converted the text to curves in Affinity before exporting as an SVG then importing into Carbide Create

You are using a 3rd party tool:
which seems to have some problem in how it is defined.
If I change to a Carbide 3D tool:
then the toolpath previews as expected:
