This screw just fell out mid cut. Were does it go?
Is it M3? If so, it should be a set screw for one of the pulleys, see:

Is there not also a grub screw for the spindle mount. There’s the 2 bolt holes to tighten the mount to hold the spindle in place and if I remember there’s a 3rd hole between these bolts with the grub screw which is intended to gently pry open the mount in case your spindle is too tight. I forget if the grub screw was already inserted or if it was loose in some packaging.

It is hard to tell scale but that screw looks bigger than 3mm. I think Patrick may be onto something about the router mount.
I just assembled mine, and that looks exactly like the grub screw from the router mount.
