Within Carbide Motion we adjust move speeds by clicking on Fast, Slow, 1mm, etc.
However, I’m often working from a little wireless keyboard as I move the spindle.
There are keys for moving X, Y, Z but are there keys for speed of movement?
With the number lock on press
1 for fast jog,
2 for slow jog,
3 for 1 mm per press of direction key
4 for 0.1 mm per press of direction key
5 for 0.01 mm per press of direction key

For what it is worth on my XL 
Fast (1) 5.5mm per press of direction key
Slow (2) 2.2mm per press of direction key
3,4 and 5 as above
