Laser cutting the Nomad 3 Windows?

Are the window inserts on the Nomad 3 polycarbonate or acrylic?
I was about to throw one in the laser cutter to add a vacuum hose port… but polycarbonate and lasers are mostly bad for the kids:)

To be safe, I ended up making a new insert out of acrylic. Now I have a factory back up:)

I have confirmation that they are shipped with acrylic side windows, laser away.
