So I recently upgraded my z axis to an HDZ and also adding a laser. When using lightburn the z axis will only lower about half way before it starts grinding. I know the carriage traveled its entire length before I set up lightburn. Did a quick search but didn’t see anything on the issue unless I just didnt look enough. Any idea on my issue is?
I actually figured it out, wasn’t a software issue and I feel like an idiot. The mount for my laser was actually catching the bottom plate for the lead screw. Simple trim of the laser mount and we are moving up and down as accepted.
