Looking for an image of a chain

In continuation of this design…
Im looking for a chain image. I did not see one in the library. Any suggestions?
(Chain link)

There is a chain in the U.S. Navy emblem:

copy from that?

Some vector drawing programs will have a pair of chain elements which can be endlessly duplicated along a path.

I should be able to attempt that.

What im trying to accomplish is the following

This will be used to ‘balance’ the ‘a’s’

The two lines on the triangle that are the ‘hanging’ parts to hold the ‘a’ are what are desired to be chain (clear as mud?)

The more i look at this…

What about the ‘L’ of the scale being a spin?
Cool idea?
Doable?

Just draw it?

Then just duplicate as needed:

An optional improvement is to slightly trim the links short of each other:

Attached as a v7 file:

@WillAdams
This is mind blowing kindness!!
Thank you so much.
This also got me to start viewing things differently. You make it look easy.

Thank you !

The results of @WillAdams chain!

The arms that the chains hang from and the plate hanging from the chains need to be modified to smaller lines but the trial run looks sweet.

Appreciation and thanks
