So I’m trying to do a vcarve inlay and after making a bunch of mistakes, I realized that I have been incorrectly probing my z after tool changes by not setting the probe on top of the material. So now that I have realized my mistake, I need to adjust for the deeper cuts I have made. I was wondering what the depth of the slot on the probe is so I can adjust accordingly. I’m guessing its 3mm, but figured I’d see if I could get the official slot depth.
Yes, it’s 3mm. There are some posts here, and an unofficial model on Thingiverse which confirm that.
