Machine has been thoroughly lubricated, but make a horrible sound when moving diagonally.
Could this be related to why it’s losing position? Should have looked like first pic, but made a lot of noise and cut really badly.
Really don’t like wasting time and materials.

Did anything mechanically interfere with the motion?
Could tool sharpness be an issue?
Is all wiring in good condition and all connectors secure?
Try re-cutting the file and capturing everything on video?

Is the horrible noise happen on X or Y axis only movement ?
Or only diagonally ?
only diagonally. watch the video.
Nothing weird except the gantry felt like it shifted when changing bits, which has never happened before. Plus it started to make loud grinding sounds (which I didn’t hear at first since I wear hearing protection).

Mine will sound like that at times. I usually will add lube to all the linear bearing to quiet it down.
It is always nosier on a rapid diagonal move.

That could be a clue as to what’s wrong, the gantry should not shift. Check for loose hardware on everything that supports X and Y travel.

A good point.
The machine should be mechanically sound with all wiring in good condition, and connectors secure, and all linear rails/blocks well-lubricated. We have one page which touches on that last:
https://carbide3d.com/hub/docs/maintenance/
and folks should if need be, review:
