Machine jogs after job is complete

Is there a command I’ve missed in CC or CM to command the router stay at the exact XY it ends and “not” jog at all?

No.

Carbide Create includes an M2 (or M30?) command at the end of the file which Carbide Motion interprets as lift and then move straight back.

You could edit that command out if you have Pro by exporting to a .nc file.

More option for End of Program movement

Right now Carbide Motion executes special behavior when it sees M2 (end-of-program). Raise spindle Move straight back I find that in many cases, even all the way back the carriage and spindle are in the way. I would like more options for end-of-program behavior: Current (reasonable default) Current, then move to top right (close to machine 0,0) Raise spindle and stop. For me I’m having to really plan out my clamps to cut parts out. I’m going to download gSender and see for myself the level of difficulty it is and if it will run my Shapeoko 3 with some level of ease and stop at the ending XY and not jog. Youtube has videos showing hooking up a gamepad devise that will jog the machine and more.
