Machine only cutting half of my project

So my machine has been fine for the last two weeks. Have done about 15 projects on it with no issues. Then yesterday on two different projects with two different bits it’s only carving a portion of the project

Shapeoko pro xxl HDZ (small threaded bolt)
I was looking at some posts for stuff similar to this and I’ve double checked and tightened my belts the boxy axis isn’t sagging the back plat isn’t out of alignment and doesn’t budge when tried to move it by hand and the router doesn’t budge at all in its harness and the bits are tightly secured

Additionally the board came pre planned from rockler and I watched the machine run and it goes through the motions of making the cut and it’s less than 1/32 in above the board

I put the bit down to the waste board and the left side is flush but the right side has a super tiny gap in it. How can I get the gap flush

Tram the wasteboard by surfacing it?

Either your waste board isn’t flat or your board isn’t flat.

Doesn’t matter if it’s pre planned, or can still be warped or any other form of not flat especially after paint is applied.

I could also be that you are tightening down your work holding too tightly.

The Jack Daniels style Marine Corps sign has a hold down at the top, but the rest of the piece is butted up to the corner fence. Maybe the hold-down clamp is putting too much pressure on the piece.

For the punisher, how did you clamp the piece down? If it were a clamp on the left and the right, then I’d say you found the issue.

It looks like pine boards; they are rarely perfectly flat. I like to have the concaved side of the pine board facing up and use my work holding to “flatten” it to the wasteboard. Alternatively, you can face it with your CNC or use a sled and some wedges to flatten the board in your planer (if you have one).

Another tip is to set your Z height in the Center of the board.

The wasteboard looks like it could use some help, too. I have found the McFly bit is the best way to surface the wasteboard. I have multiple surfacing tools, and that one is my favorite and easiest to use.
