Machine wont work

I bought a new computer for the shop and it runs on windows 11. after downloading the carbide motion app my machine will not work. when I try to intialize it make a horrible sound and i get an error of controller unexpectedly restarted may be in undefined state. click ok and error homing failed couldnt find limit switch. Ive tried going thru the settings but cant get it going. It worked fine on other computer but when i hooked old computer back up it does the same thing. any one help?

With any new machine/computer the first thing you have to do is send the configuration.

Sending the configuration sets up Carbide Motion and tells it what kind of machine you have.

Open Carbide Motion and connect to the Shapeoko but do not initialize.
Go to Settings and the second tab opens up first. Uncheck the BitSetter even if you dont have one.
Now go to the first tab and set the machine model and Z type.
Send the configuration and then try to initialize.

If this is a new or new to you machine then you might have to adjust the homing switches to get them to trigger properly when the machine homes in the right rear.

If you get through initialization then jog over to the Bitsetter and go back to settings and use the current location to setup the BitZero location. Send the configuration again with the BitSetter checked.

When the machine initializes the router will come to the front center and prompt for a bit. Put any bit in and it will go over to the BitSetter and probe twice and return to the front center. You are now ready to load a file and cut something. You will have to set X Y and Z Zero before running a file.

Write back if you still have an issue. Be specific.
