Maintenance Counters

I feel I use the Shapeoko quite a bit - not sure how this stacks up with other community members. Just curious:

Not sure what mine are at (and I’d have to check and total up 3 separate instances of Carbide Motion), but the vibration run-time sensor I finally managed to get mounted securely enough that it activates reliably is only at 28.2 hours last time I checked.

Naturally, folks should keep:

in mind when tracking this sort of thing.

Vibration runtime sensor you say :eyes:

I’ve been meaning to get some myself, do you recommend yours or should I keep looking?

Unfortunately my installs and pc and all that jazz changes pretty frequently with various testing and such, so I think I’m tallied up at like…two hours of runtime :melting_face:

I picked whichever one was highest rated on Amazon at the time of my purchase — which reminds me, I missed a trick by not getting one for my new 3D printer…

That my own counters get reset w/ various installs, or not tracked based on using multiple computers and so forth is why I wanted the physical electronic counter.

@WillAdams

I’ll have to check the H2D but I think it keeps track of run time itself. Now, that may include the total time from “file received” (which then prompts warmup/cal process) vs the actual “print” time?
