I am going to be cutting some custom panels for a privacy fence around my hot tub in a couple of weeks on my Shapeoko Pro XXL. I was wondering if anyone might have some suggestions on the best material for something like this. I was considering either sheet metal or an acrylic panel but, I have never done either on the Shapeoko. Below is an example of what I have in mind.
If I use sheet metal can someone suggest what type/thickness/cutter would be best?
Anyone use black acrylic outdoors and seen how good it holds up over 3/5 years? What thickness and what type of acrylic might work best? How about what cutter?
Any other suggestions on a different or better material?
