The C3D shop is out of #604E inserts.
Had anyone found a suitable substitute ?

SpeTool offers 2 in that size
You can find the #604E replacement inserts at Sparkfun, they also say there in stock.

I do not plunge with the McFly, only face cuts from off the part.
I removed the bottom cutters per other threads to get a better surface finish.
It’s a good point to remember for when I resurface the MDF table top.
I will have to put the bottom cutters back on.
I did check the C3D site and got the specification.
I did a search and found the SpeTool and SparkFun websites.
This is the mfg that seems to be the real source.
Has anyone purchased from these sites successfully ?
Traversing thru the Amazon I believe I found the inserts @Tod1d mentioned.
I have never bought from the other sites, but I have bought a lot from Amazon.
Never tried these in particular, I have an Amana RC-2245 that use’s a different insert.
I have however used SPE Tool end mills for machining wood and those have been good.

Yep, that will work for me. I feel a bit safer through Amazon.
