I’m kicking the tires on meshcam with the trial subscription to mill on the XXL. What looked to be a rudimentary program and ideal for my needs is causing me much grief.
I’m attempting to import an .stl which was created with tinkercad. My issue begins immediately with the stock size. The numeric values are representative of the metric system despite the .stl being saved with imperial data and the stock selection being set to inches.
If I attempt to modify the numeric values into inches the geometry no longer is scaled to the stock and thus far I’ve found it impossible to center it within.
I also attempted to work in mm on the stock size but then the program exponentially inflates the numeric values.
