So i got a little impatient today and screwed up big time cutting some aluminum! My Z axis is toast after this crash… has anyone had this happen before? I broke a v wheel, broke the belt pulley gear, and gouged both aluminum side rails. Weighing my options between upgrading to the Mr Bever HD or seeing if carbide 3d will sell me another complete assembly

I did the same thing to mine on Friday. I ordered the HDZ upgrade from Mr Beaver the same day and it’ll be here soon. I feel really happy with my decision given today’s announcement that Luke (Mr Beaver) is joining Carbide 3D.
