Microstep settings for Shapeoko 3

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me the microstep settings needed for a Shapeoko 3? I’m setting up a new control board after my Sparkfun Stepoko board has bit the dust!

I’m configuring new stepper motors, and I need to set the dip switches for the microstep settings.

I have the Shapeoko 3 with Z plus.

Any help please?

The original default was 4x micro-stepping, but the current recommendation is 8x, which matches the current boards.

So 8x is what I should choose if I’m using the current Grbl settings found on the Reddit wiki?
