Missing model and toolpaths

When I complete a file in Pro and save it, the next time I open the file I have no model or toolpaths in the file. What can I be doing wrong. Creates the cnc file when saved.

Welcome to the forum, It would help if we knew the version of CC you have and perhaps post the file?

CC can be weird about dialog memory.
Click Save As… and look at the folder. It may have saved a copy in the wrong place???

What filename?

What is the compleat path?

Are you using any non-ASCII characters for either?

What happens if you save in a path and using a name which is limited to only letters (a–z, A–Z), numbers (0–9), the path separator, drive letters, and hyphen characters?

I’m the Pro version. Saved the file as paw 1. I did save the toolpaths so I have those. If I open the nc file no model or paths. Am I doing something wrong?

A .nc file is not supposed to be opened by Carbide Create — it should be loaded into Carbide Motion and sent to the machine as discussed at:

https://carbide3d.com/hub/courses/create-pro/g-code-output/

To have a file you can open in Carbide Create, save as a .c2d file, which is Carbide Create’s native fileformat and includes geometry and toolpaths.
