Hey Folks-
Shapeoko 5 Pro 24x48 version, maybe 20 hours on the machine. I noticed the y-axis motor clicks when moving in the +Y direction, more so when the system is in the second half of the travel than the first half.
Is this normal? If not, is there anything I can/should do?

Check your connector from the motor to the worm gear shaft. It sounds like something is lose, a locking nut backed out or even a bearing noise. How about trying a JOG movement with a slower and or faster movement speed and see what you can hear/see and maybe you will find it.
Also you could use a long screw driver and place it on the NON ROTATING motor and screw parts and try to feel a vibration or the knocking and you could locate it that way.

Ahh yes, I remember that screwdriver trick from my car building days and diagnosing a failing fuel injector. I’ll poke around and see what I can find, thanks for your input!
