Unless you have specific questions about this spindle (which I am happy to answer!), this will be my last post on the topic. Here are photos of the front and back of the actual spindle I bought for my other machine.
The latest C3D machine has a water-cooled spindle. Hopefully they will make this a standard option for other machines in the future.
I am probably one of very few people who has never run their Shapeoko with a trim router, only ever with a spindle.
