Hi all - I bought a Shapeoko 3 XL a few years back in the US, and I’ve recently moved to the Netherlands. Any ideas for getting the power working here? Also any recommendations for routers that I can make work with it?
The machine itself should work:

You’ll probably want a DeWalt D26200 or Makita RT0700 depending on which mount you have — check in at support@carbide3d.com w/ a photo of your machine and we’ll walk through this with you.
First check the power supply - it’s quite common for power supplies to accept both North American and European voltages. If that’s the case, you just need a new power cord, or cut the end off the current one and re-wire it, or even just use a ‘dumb’ adapter to plug it in.
On the power supply it should indicate the acceptable AC Input - if it’s universal, it would read something like
100-240Vac, 50-60 Hz
My S3 XL has a universal power supply.
I think there is also a European version of the Makita - I think its Makita RT0700CX4.
Thanks, Will and Michael! That sounds great - I had thought the voltage would be an issue, but using an adapter should be fine at least for the short-term.
Will, if I have the mount for the American DeWalt, is it safe to assume that that’s the same size as the DeWalt D26200?
Yes, the DeWalt D26200 is the 220V version of the DWP611 — both are 69mm in diameter (fitting the original rectangular mount) and use the same accessories.
