I reached a personal milestone today with the Nomad 3. I recreated a 3D object, a preamp bezel, in wood (Morado) to mount on a guitar body. I created two, 2D drawings in Carbide Create, a top view and a side view. I used the top view to cut the shape in the X-Y plane. I exported the side view as an SVG, then imported it in Tinkercad; where I essentially ‘extruded’ the object’s profile to create two STL objects, a top surface and bottom surface. I imported these two STLs into Carbide Create Pro, one at a time, to first cut the top surface and then the bottom surface (with a simple wooden jig to ensure alignment for the bottom side milling). I have done bas-relief STL and grayscale height maps but never a full 3D object. I am sure there are other ways to do this, but this made sense in my head and it turned out well.

If this is your guitar be on the look out for the Morado to leak. I used some Morado for a mallet and it occasionally has some white residue leak out. It could have just been the piece I used but it does come off by wiping it with solvent. Morado is a very resinous wood that is beautiful.
Nice job creating your bezel.
Beautiful craftsmanship !
