I want to make a script name sign for my sons Wedding. I make script from the text but how do you connect /set it up for one continues piece on wood. Even when you capitalize the first letter and make the remaining letters small text.
Pictures Pictures Pictures! Show us what you have now, we can’t make suggestions blind!
On Windows try Brush Script MT. As far as I know it is one of the built in fonts. I have used it and the letters are connected.
You can download the font you like the best and upload it to the Font Library.
To Join a letter, you need to first convert the letter to a Vector and use the boolean union function.
Select the first vector and then the second vector and hit the Boolean Union button.
Whammo you are done.
To make your text into a vector, I use the “Offset Vector” tool. I set it at Inner by .01. Then Delete the Text block.

The font Alex Brush works very well for the wedding gift box’s I make for a photographer. It’s pretty simple using @WillAdams instructions but when I get to the v carve I use the regular v carve rather than advanced with a start depth of .030" max depth setting of .070". I also set the depth per pass as to run several passes to help clean up the fuzzies.
Thanks for all the information
